easysnowdata.sar.sentinel1.incidence_angle_field(dem: DataArray, geometry: dict[str, Any], *, swath: tuple[float, float] = (29.1, 46.0)) → DataArray

Ellipsoidal incidence angle across the swath, on the DEM’s grid.

Linear from swath[0] at the near-range edge to swath[1] at the far-range edge of the footprint in geometry (the true relation is slightly convex; the linear model is within about a degree). Pixels outside the footprint are clipped to the nearest edge.
