easysnowdata.plotting.add_scalebar(ax: Any, crs: Any = None, **kwargs: Any) → Any[source]#

Add a small scale bar (matplotlib_scalebar) to ax.

For a projected CRS one data unit is one metre. For a geographic CRS one data unit is a degree of longitude, converted at the axes’ central latitude, so the bar is right along the x axis where it is drawn.
