easysnowdata.aoi.split_antimeridian(geom: Geometry) → Geometry[source]#

Split a geometry given in unwrapped longitudes (0…360) at 180°.

Parts east of the antimeridian are shifted back into −180…0. The result is a MultiPolygon when the geometry straddles 180°, otherwise the input with longitudes normalised to −180…180.
