easysnowdata.plotting.add_graticule#
- easysnowdata.plotting.add_graticule(ax: Any, crs: Any = None, *, step: float | tuple[float, float] | None = None, labels: bool = True, **line_kwargs: Any) None[source]#
Draw light latitude/longitude lines on ax and label them on the frame.
On geographic axes the graticule is the tick grid itself, with ticks at round degrees and labels such as
121.8°W. On projected axes the meridians and parallels are drawn as (curved) lines in the map CRS, and the x and y tick labels are replaced by the longitude and latitude where each line meets the bottom and left edges, the way cartopy labels a map.
